We traveled as an adult family of 5 and wanted to experience authenticity in Ireland, Tracey was the answer! We were warmly welcomed into her beautiful home and kitchen. We were offered tea and baked goods with home made jam and locally sourced butter.

Fantastic morning spent learning to make traditional Irish soda bread, potato bread and wheaten in very relaxed and homely surroundings. Tracey welcomed us into her home and with her help, and that of Fred and Ken, we conjured up a feast! Great experience and would recommend for all ages.

This is such a lovely morning. Tracey is warm & welcoming and an excellent teacher. I loved my morning in her beautiful kitchen learning to make a variety of Irish breads.
Individual Experiences
Join me on a Traditional Irish Bread making experience set in my kitchen on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, just 30 minutes from Belfast. We start our session with a traditional Irish Fruit Soda Cake. This is a sweet treat and delicious with lots of homemade Irish butter.
Corporate Experiences
You will start with local brew tea or coffee in fine bone china tea cups. The table will be set with an impressive selection of homemade buttermilk soda fruit bannock, soda and wheaten breads with my jams and award-winning hand rolled butters among other tasty treats. It’s a feast for the eyes! Get stuck in!
Private Parties
A traditional Bread making morning / afternoon in my cosy Farmhouse kitchen is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or host a private party. For groups of more than 7 you can choose the date and time that suits you and we will tailor the experience to your requirements whether it’s for a Hen or a special birthday.
Tour Group Experiences
Experiences for groups in my Farmhouse kitchen range from Traditional Breadmaking with morning coffee or afternoon tea and Breadmaking with Lunch. Guests will be welcomed to my home with a delicious display of homemade sweet treats and freshly made breads. We will invite some of the group to help make soda bread which they will take home with them.
