UCR dining is now cashless at all campus dining locations. We won Silver for a new retail concept, Emerbee's, and we won Bronze for our catering special event, "Taste of Citrus Grove." These are our first two NACUFS Horton Awards!
Where can I find catering for my event at UC Riverside?
Citrus Grove Catering at UC Riverside is the exclusive caterer for UCR Housing, Dining, & Residential venues. They will handle all of your catering needs from coffee breaks and breakfast, to receptions, formal dinners and cocktail parties.
What is a guest-meal pass at UCR?
Some locations offer Halal chicken and gluten-free options. Treat a friend or family member to a meal at one of our Residential Restaurants. Some Dining Plans include free guest meal passes. A guest-meal pass is equivalent to one meal swipe. Guest meal passes are not valid at UCR retail dining locations.
Do UCR dining dollars roll over?

Does UCR have good food?
Food and dining is really good at UCR, especially for those who dorm. There are good vegetarian options that you wouldn't expect to find on a college campus, and overall something from all the categories so that you don't get bored eating the same thing every day.

We pride ourselves in providing a daily wide variety of food options in a cook-to-order and just-in-time format. The Dining staff are family-oriented and provide a friendly, interactive experience for our students, staff, faculty and visitors.

Does UCR have a dress code?
No jeans, medical scrubs, swim attire, pants with rivets or zippers, or any material deemed to damage equipment is not permitted. A top, bottoms, and closed-toed athletic shoes (non-marking soles) are required. No boots, open-toed shoes, or high heels allowed.
Where are dining dollars accepted UCR?
By adding Bear Bucks, R'Blocks and/or Dining Dollars (for those with meal plans), the R'Card can be used for payment at: The UCR Bookstore. Campus dining venues. Pepsi vending machines.
Can I change my dining plan UCR?
Dining Plan Changes The Dining Plan selected is for the entire academic year. Changes are permitted during the first two weeks of the academic year only. A Dining Plan Change Request Form needs to be completed and all instructions on documentation need to be followed.

Savor Relocating to Lothian

Summer Conference Guest Meals
Our summer conference room-and-board packages include three meals a day. Meals are served in our Residential Restaurant in Aberdeen-Inverness Residence Hall. This restaurant offers multiple food platforms in a casual, “all-you-care-to-eat” format.
