How does the meal plan work at UNCC?
The Daily Plan meal swipes may be used at any time the dining hall is open. You may use as many swipes as you want for yourself. Five (5) guest swipes are included to use during the semester. Meal swipe plans — which have 160 or 100 meal swipes — are counted down as they are used throughout the semester.

A meal swipe is how students living in a residence hall pay when they eat at the dining commons. Meal plans include a certain number of meal swipes stored on their Cal 1 Card. One meal swipe per meal period will be used each time a student enters the dining commons.
