Is tonkatsu good?
The tonkatsu on top is good in its own right, and somehow remained a bit crispy even after being immersed in broth. The noodles were about as you'd expect. I couldn't tell if they were made in-house or not, but they were perfectly fine to go with the soup. Nothing mind-blowing, but they get the job done.
Is Tonkotsu Ramen bland?
Unfortunately, the broth was very bland. Tonkotsu Ramen ($13) Rich and flavorful broth with thinly sliced and perfectly cooked chashu. I was happy to see ajitama egg in this one, but the egg was slightly overcooked so the yolk wasn't completely creamy as it should be.
