How much is Wang Ja Jang's ganpungi?
Wang Ja Jang's jjangmyun (black bean noodles), ganpungi ( sweet and spicy chicken) are my favorite in the DMV. The jjangmyun is relatively inexpensive at around $5. When considering the portion of food they give you it is unbeatable for the price and flavor.
Where is the Ja Jang Myun?
This little restaurant is tucked away in a tiny green themed strip mall in Rockville. A friend recommended it so we got it for takeout one night. We got Ja Jang Myun and seafood pancake. The Ja Jang Myun was delicious. The black bean had subtle smoky flavor when you bite into the noodle. It was a fantastic Korean comfort dish. Definitely a must try. The seafood pancake was also great but didn't really stand out in anyway from other Korean restaurants.
