Who is 50kitchen?

Opening his first restaurant after years of cooking in some of Boston’s most prestigious universities & hotels, Chef Caldwell has always dreamed of bringing his vision to life. Inspired by the rich, diverse, cultural community of Dorchester, 50Kitchen’s menu pays homage to both American Southern and Asian cuisine.

As a result of the Black Businesses Matter Campaign and the generous donors, we’re one of the small businesses that just received an unexpected but very much needed matching fund grant to help us during these times. 50Kitchen is a fusion style restaurant located in Fields Corner in Dorchester.

50Kitchen is currently being featured as a spotlight restaurant at City Hall. If you love 50Kitchen’s menu and unique take on Asian and American Southern cuisine you will love our new menu at this location.

The 50K Sandwich

8oz Chinese Five Spice dry rubbed smoked pork dipped in BBQ sauce topped with Asian Pear Slaw and cilantro on a Brioche Bun.

Southwest Breakfast Tacos

2 soft tacos w/ roasted red pepper, green pepper, spinach, onions, bacon, cheese, & eggs.

Nutella French Toast

Two thick slices of toast, topped with Nutella hazelnut/chocolate spread & powered sugar.

Chicken Sliders

Dry rubbed, braised, tossed in our house made BBQ sauce & topped with crispy onion strings. (Comes with Chips & Beverage)

Brisket Sliders

Smoked & tossed in our house made BBQ sauce topped with pickled red cabbage. (Comes with Chips & Beverage)

Salmon Sliders

Our house made salmon sliders topped with basil pesto aioli. (Comes with Chips & Beverage)

A friendly, approachable full service restaurant featuring an eclectic menu with equal parts vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.

Menu

Flat rice noodles tossed in sweet soy and ginger dressing, on a bed of bok choy and napa cabbage with shredded carrots, scallions, cucumbers and edamame served with roasted peanuts and peanut lime sauce. Served with signature roasted chickpeas, choice of side dish and dessert. Includes utensils and a napkin
