Overall Thoughts
Overall, this is quite an impressive menu refresh. Our high bar for quick service remains Satu’li Canteen over in Pandora – The World of Avatar, but Disney has made some smart adjustments here and we would absolutely return to enjoy just about everything on the Docking Bay 7 refreshed menu.
What is Docking Bay 7?
Docking Bay 7 is a Fast Casual Restaurant is one of the two dining locations located in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and the main place to get food since the other restaurant is a Bar/Lounge called Oga’s Cantina which is more focused on drinks and small bites.
How much are the spooks in Docking Bay 7?
They may have disappeared for a while, but the Sporks are back in Docking Bay 7! Now they are for sale for $10.99 and come with a carrying bag. Right now they are only for sale in the Disneyland version of Docking Bay 7, but expect them to eventually make their way to Hollywood Studios too.
What is the first food option we tried and it didn’t disappoint?
It is crispy Chicken, Roasted Vegetable Potato Mash, Herb Gravy all served together in a sort of cast-iron-looking dish which I thought was a cool touch. All the food we got was served this way.
Does Docking Bay 7 have alcohol?
Yes and no. Whether or not Docking Bay 7 serves alcohol all depends in which park you visit it. In the Disneyland version of Docking Bay 7, no alcohol is served. If you want alcoholic drinks in Galaxy’s Edge, head over to Oga’s Cantina.
Is Docking Bay 7 a Disney park?
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is definitely one of the most unique dining locations in any Disney park, I mean just look at the image below and see how awesome it is!!
Is Docking Bay 7 fastcasual?
Chef Tuggs is in high demand as a highly trained culinary master, and he’s excited to show off some of the new dishes he created during his time working in May Kanata’s kitchen. Docking Bay 7 is being called a Fast-Casual restaurant on the same line with Satu’li Canteen in Pandora: The World of Avatar.
Overall
There’s a solid variety of options here, from lighter dishes like the Salad and Poke to more substantial dishes like the Batuuan Beef. There’s even a new dessert if you have a sweet tooth! But don’t worry, some of the classic favorites are still available as well, like the Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip.
