Six Ping is a cute Asian bakery in Houston's Chinatown strip mall. They feature delightfully decorated pastries and other sweet baked goods. I got the Taiwan cookie, which was dense and satisfying. Unfortunately, they have hardly any savory options, if you're looking for bao or something more hearty.
Is Six Ping cake good?
I love six ping their bread is soo good and their cake is somehow even better! I usually get the mango cake and it is covered with mango and topped with fresh fruit. The inside has 3 layers and the two layers between have even more mango and flan. It also doesn't have too much frosting which I think is a good things and it isn't too sweet! I always get this cake for birthdays and it is a crowd favorite!
