Who owns the shanty restaurant?
Our restaurant has been a gathering place for neighborhood locals to eat, drink, and socialize for over 100 years. As the community of Wadsworth, Illinois has grown through the years, so has The Shanty. Dimitri Kallianis and his family purchased the Shanty in 2006.

All Catering Orders Come in Disposable Trays or Aluminum Pans Based Upon What Is Ordered. The Shanty Does Not Provide Chafers Or Serving Utensils, But Would Be Happy To Provide You Names of Local Vendors That Can Rent Them To You For Your Private Event.
