Diners can enjoy their meal inside the beautiful, contemporary dining room, or outdoors on the cozy patio, while gazing at the UCSB lagoon and the Pacific Ocean. With floor-to-ceiling views of the surrounding mountains and an outdoor patio overlooking the pool at Santa Catalina Residence Hall, every seat is the best seat in the house.

How many swipes do I have UCSB?
Residential students have a choice of four meal plans, varying from 10 swipes a week to unlimited swipes per week. Off campus students and summer students also have options for meal plans.
Are meal plans required at UCSB?
Dining services are part of Housing and Residential Services at UCSB. Four dining commons are available to students: Carrillo, Ortega, De La Guerra, and Portola at UCSB's Storke Campus. If your student lives in a residence hall, he or she is required to sign up for a meal plan.

10 meals per week = $97.00 less/mos. 14 meals per week vs. 10 meals per week = $43.00 less/mos. Up to 19 swipes per week during meal periods in the four all-you-care-to-eat Dining Commons.
Is there a gym at UCSB?
The UCSB Department of Recreation operates a number of facilities for students, staff, faculty, and community members. The Recreation Center contains two gymnasia, weight rooms, racquetball courts, a squash court, swimming pools, a pottery studio, and locker rooms.

Gaucho Bucks is a prepaid spending account on your Access Card offering a convenient and secure way to make purchases on and off campus. Gaucho Bucks is designed to eliminate the need to carry cash and other cards.
Does UCSB have a lost and found?
There is a Lost and Found located at the Services Desk on the first floor of the Paseo in the UCSB Library. Items turned in to the Lost and Found are picked up once a week by the campus CSOs and taken to the Lost and Found at North Hall.
