Is impasto Italian restaurant open?

impastoitalian@gmail.com 603-448-0000 Now Open! We will be doing a soft opening at Impasto. Similar to a brand new car we need to break it in. Initially, we will be open for dinner 5 nights: Wednesday through Sunday. As we build staff and perfect the operations we will expand hours. Our mission is to always perform at the highest levels achievable!

What is an impasto?

It's naturally fermented with wild yeast which creats a delicious, unique flavor not replicated anywhere else. Every Impasto is 'Griddled' for a fluffy, golden brown crust, 'Stuffed' with the freshest, local ingredients and 'Rolled' into perfection! Find our Impasto Food Truck rolling through Detroit or rent our Food Truck for your next big event!

Who is the chef on impasto?

You can currently see him on CBC’s In the kitchen or on TVA’s Al Dante. Impasto is his first restaurant. With his experience as head chef of several restaurants in the city, most recently Osteria Venti, Michele Forgione, who is also a pastry chef, opens his first restaurant in collaboration with Stefano.

What is impasto Hanover?

Welcome Impasto means “Dough.” Thanks to Tim, our son-in-law, who also has a Hanover connection having graduated from the MALS at Dartmouth program in 2013, for coming up with the name. A breath of fresh air for Hanover and the Upper Valley.

STEFANO & MICHELE

Stefano grew up in Little Italy behind the counter of Dante’s, the family business run by his uncle and mother Elena Faita. He has published three best selling cookbooks and participates in numerous television shows. You can currently see him on CBC’s In the kitchen or on TVA’s Al Dante. Impasto is his first restaurant.

CATERING

Impasto offers a catering service at a location of your choice. It is also possible to reserve our restaurant for a private event. Group menus available. We offer many options; contact us for details. (NOT AVAILABLE-DUE TO COVID-19)
